Claude slightly embellished events to drive away, at least partially, related with him suspicions; a month later Shadows of the Emperor came for Nuar. Noir managed to escape, knowing in advance about the betrayal of his master. His pockets were almost empty, and the fear of death drove him away from Orlais.
In an attempt to find refuge elf stumbled upon the ruins of the old Tevinter, almost completely destroyed and overgrown with trees; he found Spike in abandoned halls. It took about a year to learn this weapon and defence against it; parallel with the study of Spike Nuar earned as mercenary, already outside the Orlais. Then he took the alias Blue Rose.
It is clear that Nuar thought through name and attributes under the influence of Rozier's family; Rose lived in orlesian society and likes good clothes, regardless of the current situation. Elf prefers dark dress and wearing a hood and mask — Shadows continued to search him. In the end he almost stopped talking, answering only in the most important situations.
